The Way I Am in April

April has got to be the most stressful month for me every year. I mean, with the school year coming to end and those stupid state tests or whatever you gotta pass…I get real stressed out. And a little anxious too. I can’t even sleep sometimes cuz I’m either really nervous about something or really excited. Its lame, I guess. I don’t know if I’m the only one who’s ever noticed this but its like 80% of the time 20% of what we worry about doesn’t matter. Like you freak out about something and then when it comes its not like you thought it’d be. I dunno if anyone’s ever heard of the 80/20 rule but its pretty useful. Its been used in business settings but you can pretty much use it for anything. Look it up, I had to one time when my Dad said I was spending too much time playing games.

So like every year I try and come up with stuff to keep me from freaking out and try to keep some sanity. Sometimes I write more of my story or I draw with my pastels but this year I’m changing. In the Christina Cut post from awhile ago I mentioned wanting to make a video of something-well guess what? I never did. So I’m gonna do that this month. Or I want to. I’m thinkin of filming outside. And writing my story, I read it a few months ago and thought it was crap cuz it made no sense. So I’m revamping it and tryin to get it back. I’ve ditched the idea of reading others books for inspiration. (Those how to write the best story ever da da da) Its my story and I’ll do it my way and use my own voice and not have to try and sound or be influenced by someone else. I’m also gonna make raspberry lemonade, my favorite drink!!

Oh hey, yesterday I got Pastry shoes. I can’t wait to wear them, I really like them. I was never a fan of tennis shoes cuz I could never find any I liked that were in my size. Thank God that Pastry has grade school size. They’re nice and maybe I’ll go back and get a new pair another time. I don’t know yet, I’m trying to save my money to get something from another store. Or maybe I’ll just keep it and save it. For a rainy day. LOL. But really, I need to put some away.

The sun is out and its a beautiful day…so I’m gonna hop off the computer.
